A few questions about merging accounts... - Guild Wars Forums

I have guild wars factions. Soon I'm also going to have Guild Wars Prophecies to merge with it. When i merge the two accounts, do i have to install the Prophecies discs as well or can i play it with just the Factions discs installed. Secondly, how is it i travel to the Prophecies map with a Factions character, and what level must the Factions character be to travel to the Prophecies map? Thirdly, can i do quests in the Prophecies map as a Factions character whilst being in a party with a Prophecies friend? And finally, can my friend from Prophecies join my Factions guild?
Sorry about all the questions, any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated.

1. You don't need to install anything from the CD's as the game client will d/l any and all files needed for you to play (and chances are, if you've been playing awhile you already have all/most of the files already).

2. Just remember to merge the account correctly! If you accidently create a new account.. your stuck with it. just remember to "add to an existing account".. not create a new account.
- Start the client, don't log into your account, select "Add/Manage" and then select "Add to an existing account".

3. to travel to Prophecies with a Faction's character.. all you need is access to Kaining center afaik. There is a quest there to go to Prophecies.. and I don't believe there is any requirement to do that quest.

4. Yes, you can do missions and quest's with prophecy only character's. just remember:

- You'll get NO xp or skill point's for any mission's prior to Lion's Arch. you can do them, and complete their bonuses, but apart from working towards the "Protector of Tyria" title, you won't get anything from them.
- There are no quest's for you prior to Lion's Arch. To pick up quest's you'll need to go from Lion's Arch and work your way into the storyline from there

5. Sure your prohecies friend can join your guild. And afaik he should have no problems in travelling to your Guild Hall, even if you pick a Faction's GH.
